Director, Brand Strategy & Advertising Communications

As immersive platforms evolve, the way players engage with brands and advertising must evolve with them. We’re looking for a Director, Brand Strategy & Advertising Communications to lead strategic messaging and partner-facing communications for branded content, in-game ads, and cross-platform sponsorships.

This role is responsible for crafting the narrative around how DYN Games partners with brands, showcasing the creative and commercial opportunities that advertising integrations can unlock within the Roblox ecosystem. You’ll oversee positioning, messaging, partner education, launch support, and ongoing communications across brand activations, ad products, and experiential campaigns.

You will work closely with teams across strategic partnerships, design, marketing, and developer relations to ensure a unified brand voice and a strong go-to-market strategy. Your work will help shape how external studios, agencies, and IP holders engage with our games and our players.

This full-time, remote position reports to the Head of Strategic Communications.

Principal Duties

  • Define and lead communications strategy for brand & studio partnerships, in-game ads, and sponsored experiences
  • Develop messaging, positioning, and collateral that highlights creative, technical, and monetization opportunities on Roblox
  • Work closely with partnership leads to create decks, case studies, and go-to-market materials for advertisers and IP holders
  • Collaborate with internal teams on campaign planning, launch communication, and post-activation reporting
  • Partner with design and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency across all external-facing content
  • Support business development efforts through clear, compelling partner education and communications strategy
  • Monitor industry trends and player sentiment to inform strategy and messaging
  • Act as a thought leader and spokesperson for branded content strategy and platform potential

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of expertise in brand partnerships, marketing strategy, or communications in the gaming, tech, or digital media industries
  • Thorough comprehension of interactive advertising models
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities with a keen sense of narrative structure and detail
  • Experience collaborating on campaigns or co-branded content with outside agencies, partners, or IP owners
  • Knowledge of brand integrations and Roblox or UGC gaming platforms
  • Capacity to function in cross-functional, fast-paced settings
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities combined with a collaborative mindset
